One of my favorite books

Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenks Reid was my favorite book I read in 2023 and is probably one of my all-time favorite books. I read the entire novel in a week which typically doesn't happen and shows how much I enjoyed it. I loved everything about it from the characters to the format of the book.
Daisy Jones & The Six is a 1970s rock band that sits down with a magazine today to tell the story of their rock and roll life and how it shaped them while also showing the dark side of the music industry and how it ultimately split the once famous band up. The story has music, love, drugs, friendships, fame, and how it all can become so entangled and complicated.
The entire book is written in an interview format allowing each band member to tell their story of those glory days and how they remembered them. I wasn't sure about the format when I first started reading the book but as it went on I loved it and found it easy to read and made the story that much better.
The characters come alive in this novel and you find yourself fully invested in each of their stories, rooting for them, sympathizing with them, and watching as they live and learn life's lessons in the spotlight.
I haven't found a Taylor Jenks Reid book that I haven't fallen in love with but this one is at the top of my list.
