I finally read the viral book everyone has been talking about!
It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover Book Review

Yes, I am no longer living under a rock and read It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover! The book discusses dating violence and emotional abuse through the fictional story of Lilly Bloom and Ryle Kincaid. The love story is emotional, deep, and looks at the dark side of relationships but also shows the strength of breaking the cycle.

Lilly Bloom has moved to Boston to find herself, start fresh, and heal. She comes from an abusive home and is ready to leave that behind. Lilly keeps running into Ryle Kincaid who has a hold on her she can't explain and sweeps her off her feet.

Lilly has taken the inheritance from her father and opened a florist shop in Boston where she will meet her best friend Allyssa. While Lilly is falling in love with Ryle, opening her own business, and healing from her past she also decides to read her childhood journals reliving her tumultuous past. The journals recount her parent's abusive relationship, her strained relationship with her father, and her teenage love with Atlas Corrigan. To complicate Lilly's life even more she will run into Atlas who is living in Boston.

The book is an easy quick read and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it was one of my favorite books but I did like it. The message in the story is important but can be difficult to talk about. Lilly's story shows the strength of women in that situation and how they can break the cycle.
